Pustervig , Pustervig Torv , 8000 Aarhus

Performance laboratory group, Public Movement, enact a new adaptation of Rescue specially developed for Aarhus as part of European Cultural Capital events. Rescue is a dance of politics, an endless preparation drill for an inevitable disaster. It takes place in the aftermath of an unknown scenario, while the ruins are also used as it’s surface. Rescue is an exercise of life-saving and a street party, celebrating the intimacy that can be created between human bodies. A photo series of the performance can be found in DIAPHANES MAGAZINE No. 2
