(*1980) is a Swiss artist who lives and works in Geneva and Basel. He completed his academic degree (Hons.) and a postgraduate at the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) in 2007. He works essentially in the field of sculpture and installation. His works explore the multiples convinces between man and machine, with a particular interest for the engine as vector and symbol of power. During his career, the artist have been rewarded by several prizes, (e.g. Prix de la Fondation UBS, Swiss Art Award, etc.) and residency programs in Rome, Prague, Paris, Berlin, Marfa and London. Mattenberger is co-founder and co-editor of the literary review Coma.
