(*1977 in Müllheim/ Baden) is a visual artist and photographer. He studied photography at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich from 1999–2003. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Galerie Kirchgasse, Steckborn (2023), Kunsthalle Bern (2017), Fotomuseum Winterthur (2010) and Kunstmuseum Stuttgart (2009). Stefan Burger's work has been part of various group exhibitions such as Take care, Kunsthaus Zürich (2022), Summer of suspense, Kunsthalle Zürich (2020), 30 artists / 30 spaces, Kunsthalle Nürnberg (2012) or Beyond (Look at my face: my name is Might Have Been; I am also called No More,Too Late, Farewell), KUMU Tallinn (2011).
