Arthur Holitscher

(1869–1941), was an author, primarily a travel writer. His travels included the United States (America: Today and Tomorrow, 1912) and also postrevolutionary Russia, which formed the basis for his first-hand account entitled Drei Monate in Sowjet-Russland (Three Months in Soviet Russia) (1921). Holitscher’s books were among those burned by the Nazis in 1933.
