Carmen Belmonte

MPhil, is a research collaborator at The Kunsthistorisches Institut—Max-Planck-Institut in Florence. Her PhD project focuses on the visual culture of Italian colonialism in the nineteenth century. Previously, she was part of a research group, based at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, that studied Italian policies concerning the restoration of cultural heritage.
