Judith Siegmund

Judith Siegmund is a professor of philosophical aesthetics at the Zurich University of the Arts, where she heads the research area of aesthetics and the doctoral program Epistemologies of Aesthetic Practices. Her research focuses on the theory of artistic action, on theory-historical and recent issues in the aesthetics of production and reception and in art philosophy. She is an associate member of the Collaborative Research Centre Intervening Arts and has also worked as a visual and conceptual artist for many years.
