is currently lecturer in Anglophone literatures at the University of Potsdam. She completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, was a visiting researcher at Delhi University in 2017, and defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Potsdam in 2019. Lucy has published on postcolonial studies and world literature, and has also taught at the University of Cape Town and the Free University of Berlin.
