Moira Gatens

is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney and a Fellow of the Academy of the Humanities and of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia. Her research focuses on early modern philosophy, social and political theory, and philosophy and literature.  Her current project is on the complex theoretical connections and influences among Spinoza, Feuerbach, and George Eliot.
