Shindô Hisano

is a non-tenured associate professor at Matsuyama University. In 2013, she submitted her dissertation about André Breton’s writing on art to Lumière University Lyon 2, written under the direction of Professor Dominique Carlat. She specializes in French literature of the twentieth century, particularly surrealism, and is currently interested in the interaction between text and image in this artistic movement.
