is profesor of History of Art at the Burg Giebichenstein University Halle, Germany. She studied History of Art, German language and Philosophy in Freiburg, Germany, Vienna, and Berlin, including extensive research stays in Italy, China, and Turkey. After receiving her PhD she taught at universities in Berlin and Braunschweig, Germany. She additionally works as a curator, with exhibitons having been displayed in Siegen, Germany, Budapest, and Sevilla. Her research focuses on the modern period and contemporary art, the history of ideas, the connection between art and game, the history of visual media and concepts of intermediality.
studied industrial design at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá from 2001 to 2006 and has been a fine artist ever since. She has exhibited her work at a number of exhibitions in Germany. Her research interests relate to issues of identity formation and the colonial period in South America.
